Intermittent fasting, also known as IF, is a popular health practice for people wanting to lose weight and create a healthier lifestyle. Essentially, IF is fasting for a certain amount of time each day and eating in a specific limited window of hours. The most common IF method is 16-hour fast with an eating window of 8 hours or a 24-hour fast for two days out of the week. IF has numerous health benefits. It causes levels of human growth hormone to increase which benefits the body with fat loss and muscles growth. It is also known to improve insulin levels, repair cells, and help you live a longer life.
