Hello. Good morning. This is Patrick Ocheni, your trusted fitness expert. In today’s video, what I want to do is share with you guys one easy tip that you can utilize today, right now, to help you reduce inches without exercise.
If you are somebody that’s unable to exercise right now but you would like to still reduce inches, this video is for you.
In an ideal scenario, you want to be exercising, and watching what you eat.
Right now, I’ve got some nagging injuries that’s preventing me from exercising as frequently and as intensely as I would like.
So, what I’m doing now to stay in shape, is to make sure I watch what I eat.

The tip has to do with making better, healthier eating choices.
What do I mean about making better, healthier choices when it comes to your food?
What that simply means is that, in general, you want to eat your food not drink your food.
Let me give you a good example.
I have here with me, a bottle of apple juice.
I like juice too but the problem is, if you’re trying to lose weight, this is not the way to go.
Why is that?
Whenever you drink juice, it goes straight into your bloodstream and what that does is spike your blood sugar level.
And, whenever your blood sugar levels spikes, it triggers a hormone called insulin. Insulin is what’s called a “storage hormone.”
One of the things it does is store fat, so whenever insulin is triggered in your body, it means that you are essentially telling your body to store fat.
This apple also contains sugar; however, this apple, unlike the apple juice, has fiber that will minimize or slow down how quickly your blood sugar level spikes.
The other reason why you want to be eating your fruit as opposed to drinking your fruit is that, you can only eat so many apples.
No matter how much you love eating apples, you’re not going to eat like 10 apples at a time. I have never come across anybody that eats like 10, 15 apples at a time.
Basically, it’s going to control how many calories you’re able to eat. Plus, it’s going to take you time to eat this fruit completely.
If I were to eat this apple right now, it would probably take me at least 30 seconds, if not longer, to eat this fruit.
Whereas, if I were to drink the juice, it would take me probably like five seconds.
The moral of the story is, whenever you want to have fruits, always choose to eat your fruits as opposed to drinking your fruit. That change alone, if you apply, is going to go a long way towards helping you reduce inches, reduce belly fat, and just lose weight and feel better overall.
